360° Interactive Crime Scene

In my previous role at the University of Strathclyde, I worked as a Video Production Specialist within the Faculty of Science, demonstrating a broad range of digital media skills to support online learning. I collaborated with Learning Technologists to develop digital resources for modules delivered via Moodle, the University’s Learning Management System. This ranged from building simple quizzes to creating interactive activities using H5P, including a 360° virtual crime scene for the Centre for Forensic Science.

Working closely with academic staff, I used open-source tools such as HTML5 Package (H5P) to design and produce interactive learning content. For an online PGCert, I developed a 360° photography-based activity that enabled students to explore and investigate a mock crime scene.

This project demonstrates how I used digital media and learning technology to bridge the gap between traditional, in-person teaching and immersive online experiences. By allowing students to actively explore a realistic environment, the activity supported engagement, critical thinking and enhanced on their online learning experience.
